Course Description
As an entrée to the world of instrumental music performance, this course will provide students the “day one” instruction needed for successful participation in instrumental music ensembles. Offered in a group setting the class will build foundation-level skills such as tone production, instrumental proficiency, and music reading. As a mixed instrumental music group, the class will culminate in the preparation and performance as an ensemble. Enrollment in Studio Band is suggested.
