Responsibilities include:​​

​

• Directing the nation's largest suite of grant programs supporting jazz ensembles, composers, and presenters, funded entirely by The Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.

​

• Developing grant guidelines, promoting funding opportunities, and presenting informational seminars for prospective applicants.

​

• Managing all aspects of the grant review process, including prescreening applications for eligibility, coordinating panel reviews, recruiting and overseeing nationally recognized musician panelists, calculating evaluation results, notifying award recipients, and administering grant payments upon successful completion of funded projects.

​

• Coordinating the First Thursdays professional development workshop series for Chamber Music America members.

​

• Co-designing the French-American Jazz Exchange program in collaboration with the French Consulate, fostering artistic exchange between leading jazz musicians in the United States and France.​
